Highlight how far a user has progressed through an edition

Similar to remembering a users position within an article, this would remember a user's position within an edition's table of contents and highlight it for them so they know how far through the edition they were in their last session.

You may have seen live activities in apps such as Uber, Bolt and Deliveroo. They appear on your lock screen and update you as something is happening in real time. This could be applicable to; sports results, election results and more.
