Let us know your thoughts on our upcoming ideas and add some of your own.
Here's my idea. It would be amazebogs if you could implement it please? (voice rising towards the end).
A client sends us a combined PDF that has 'click here' designed into the artwork and appears multiple times on a single PDF Page and also throughout the combined issue.
The client has embedded URL links already into the PDF they supplied, which already work when using just PDF reader and their PDF.
It would be great if we could upload a PDF, using the 'PugPig PDF importer'.
Either, the system then automatically generates a hotspot over the same area that the hidden/embedded URL are located.... or,
we could enter them manually. In this instance, we would then drag a URL hotspot zone over an area on the uploaded page (when editing it) to add a unique URL.
The ability to add multiple clickable URL's on a single PDF page would be important.
There would need to be a simple labelling system for each hotspot, such as 1,2,3 etc.
The end result would have the user opening it via the app, where they would then tap the various visual prompts (designed into the artwork), taking them to the various webpages you added when editing.
What problem are you facing? |
We currently use the 'PugPig PDF importer' to upload supplements, but can't add more than 1 URL per page. |
What improvement or new feature are you hoping for? |
To implement the above without increasing production times. |
What impact do you think this will have? (e.g. improve app usability, help drive acquisitions) |
Open up the ability to drive more users to the app and increase the options on how the PDF sent in by client can be used, which would drive sales. |
we have some advertisers looking to place supplements that would live as PDF only this would be great for that space.
